Here There Be Monsters.

April 7, 2011

Sarah’s Law is purported to be a means to protect our children. It began in July 2008 as a campaign headed by The News of the World in response to the murder of Sarah Payne. The campaign was backed by Sarah’s parents as they were positive that a child sex offender had been responsible for their daughter’s death. 17 months later they were proved correct, when Roy Whiting was found guilty of killing Sarah Payne, and it was revealed that he already had a conviction for abducting and indecently assaulting an eight-year-old girl.

The concept of Sarah’s Law is supposed to be similar to Megan’s Law, operating in America in honour of murder victim Megan Kanka. However, Megan’s Law does seem to have an edge on the English version sounding somewhat more extensive or far reaching. We are told that Sarah’s Law allows parents to check if someone has a history of child sex offences. Now forgive me if I’m wrong but that suggests to me that parents actually are able to access the sex offenders register and see if a name is on it. It seems I am much mistaken. From perusing this particular site http://www.sarahslaw.co.uk/how-it-works I can only observe that Sarah’s Law is a glorified policing service. The parents have absolutely no control over it. It is the constabulary and therefore the government who have ultimate say over whether information is discharged to the parents. Even then the police only supply the information to the parents of the specific children and ‘warn’ them to maintain confidentiality on the ‘threat’ of civil or criminal action. This means that should the mother discover that she has met a paedophile she cannot warn other parents that one is operating in the area for fear of prosecution!

Following use in four pilot areas of England and Wales in September 2008, Sarah’s Law national roll out began on July 31st 2010. It is expected to be implemented all across England and Wales by March 2011. Home Secretary Theresa May hailed “The roll-out of this scheme is an important step forward for child protection in this country. Being able to make these checks reassures parents and the community and more importantly keeps children safer. Not only will it help parents, carers or guardians ensure that their children are safe, but it also assists the police in managing known sex offenders living in the community more effectively.” Yet if the government is so concerned about child protection why are they so uneasy about releasing sex offenders’ information. If Great Britain was serious about protecting her children Sarah’s Law does not go far enough by any means. To start with it needs an upgrade to the standard of Megan’s Law, were by registered paedophiles/sex offenders information is often displayed on free public websites, but can be published in newspapers, distributed in pamphlets, or through various other means. Commonly included information includes the offender’s name, picture, address, incarceration date, and nature of crime.  At  Federal level, Megan’s Law, known as the Sexual Offender (Jacob Wetterling) Act of 1994, persons convicted of sex crimes against children are required to notify local law enforcement of any change of address or employment after release from custody (prison or psychiatric facility). After the horrific murder of his son Adam, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Murder_of_Adam_Walsh John Walsh was key in having The Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act[1] signed into law. This supplements Megan’s Law with new registration requirements and a three-tier system for classifying sex offenders according to their risk to the community. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Walsh_Child_Protection_and_Safety_Act

However, although The British Government appears to be doing its ‘upmost’ for child protection, the decision to expand Sarah’s Law followed the independent evaluation of a £600,000 pilot scheme in four police force areas. Though given the nature of Sarah’s Law and how it could and should be expanded I ask myself exactly how this money was spent. Was it really piloting a child protection scheme or a smoke screen that will pacify parents and carers. I mean take a look at other government proposals. We have sex ‘education’ for five year olds and this is the type of literature the children will be exposed to http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1364360/Sex-education-Do-want-5-year-old-child-given-explicit-lessons.html If a five year old child is being taught in school that an orgasm feels like being tickled how is that child supposed to differentiated between a bad touch and a good touch.  Also extremely distressing is the report featured here   http://www.chris-uk.org/frocks-and-pompoms-for-primary-school-boys As pointed out by Mike Judge the most disturbing thing is teaching children to resist the values of their parents and grandparents.” This is government backed and schools are urged to use the material to show they are compliant with the Equal Opportunities Act. The cover up of the abuse of Hollie Greig http://www.chris-uk.org/hollie-greig exposes another example of the lack of concern for our Nation’s children or perhaps something a lot more sinister. Given the nature and breadth of Hollie’s ordeal and the lengths taken to cover it up it bears a striking resemblance to Tony Blair’s cover up of the Dunblane massacre.  http://www.tpuc.org/node/34

On the whole this is a good site http://www.chris-uk.org/ sex offenders should be named a shamed. Though it never ceases to amaze me how bleeding heart liberals and the media manage to hook the British National Party in! Right now there are 25 convicted paedophiles that are in the Labour Party.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7eq2hGAulfs I do not apologise when I suggest that when a sex fiend murders a child it should be one strike and they are out, and by out I mean the death penalty. If this was the case little Sarah Payne would still be alive today.

When are the sheeple and couch potatoes going to realise and wake up to the reality, they (government) do not care and we do not matter.
They will continually herd us like cattle or goyan whichever term they use until we all learn to stand up for ourselves as one people. They are supposed to be working for us, and our laws are their to keep our societies existence, except they are not!
Whilst they continually keep the people fighting in there many deliberate not for the good of the people legislative acts, they also continually use unlawful legislation to unlawfully override the acts of UK law for their own ends. Where there is no lawful accountability, or any honest public duty any more and the all has been deliberate from greedy grubby political hands. Where they use the peoples money to continually flaunt these deliberately unlawful acts in our faces, by their ever-rising (all sorts of) criminal actions. Where the police in ever-rising being as corrupt, and again substituted with taxpayers money, will take no lawful action against their fellow brethren.
Society needs to wake up to the reality, we need honest public duty and we want the law upheld for our own personal and family protection and not theirs – We need complete change in our ever-rising corrupt government and ever-rising corrupt police.
